The world isn't quite what I thought it was.
Four days ago, my wife died in my arms. A freak brain aneurysm.
Yesterday, this woman showed up at my door and tells me, no, my wife was actually murdered. By magic.
And oh by the way, they are coming for me next. If I can't remember who I am, I don't stand a chance.
I've got to figure out who killed the only woman who ever loved me and find some way to stop those responsible.
Even if they are immortal.
